Prayer Gatherings

Jesus said: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

John 15:5

"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ…Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should."

Colossians 4:2-4

Who we are is as important as what we do. Therefore, we are determined to keep learning about prayer and growing in prayer because we want to be led by the Holy Spirit in all we do.

Main Prayer Gathering

Our main prayer gathering takes place on the first and third Wednesday of the month, 8pm -9pm in the church centre. Tea and Coffee is served from 7.30pm onwards. We call this the ‘main’ prayer gathering because it is prioritised over house groups on the first and third Wednesday. It is led by the Pastor or one of our Elders who make this a priority in their diary.

Other Prayer Groups

Prayer is also taking place in small groups at various times throughout the week.

  • Saturday Prayer - 8.30am to 9.30am in the church centre. Come when you can, leave when you need to. Contact: Kenny Mackenzie
  • Women’s Prayer - Group 1st and 3rd Wednesdays each month from 11am-12.30pm in homes. Contact Margaret Maciver.
  • Prayer Chain  - Confidentiality is assured. Contact Margaret Maciver.
Prayer Resources

Every month we prepare intercessions which are published in our church magazine. We sometimes raise awareness of particular prayer needs in our weekly update.
