At CCC we run a number of courses during the year. More details on each course can be found by following the links on the menu to the right of this.
- Christianity Explored
- Freedom in Christ
- The Marriage Course
Christianity Explored is an informal and relaxed seven-week course. Do you want to take time some time to think about the big questions in life? CCC aim to provide a relaxed and informal space for you to ask your questions, explore your doubts, and test the Christian worldview as presented in the gospel. Gospel means good news and it is well worth checking this out.
Who is it for? You certainly don’t need to have Bible knowledge or be a person of faith to join the course. If you have done an Alpha course before you may find it interesting to do this one as well because it is different with a focus on Mark’s gospel.
Alpha is the chance to freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. It's a great place to ask big questions about life and faith, and there's free food!
Our verse for the year is “Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” One of the best things you can do to grow as a Christian is to regularly feed your faith from God’s Word. To encourage you in your Bible reading we invite you to consider doing the Bible Course. We will be running this every second Sunday evening at 6pm. The course will be delivered online by Zoom.
This is an 8-session course helping you explore the world's bestseller. Accessible and interactive, it will enhance and inform your ongoing Bible study, whether you are new to the Bible or want to go deeper. Using a unique storyline, the course shows how the key events, books and characters all fit together. You’ll get to see the BIG picture and discover how the Bible applies to your life.
The Marriage Course is designed for couples to invest in their relationship and build a strong marriage.
Raising Faith is 6 sessions designed to give parents and carers the opportunity to share their own experiences and learn from each other as we explore simple ways we can weave faith into everyday family life.
The Care for the Family DVD resource is presented by Katharine Hill and Andy Frost and features wisdom from guest experts including Dr Krish Kandiah, Rachel Turner and Mark Chester.
The Key themes explored are:
- building faith through everyday life
- creating the right environment to nurture faith
- making your faith visible
- different ways we can connect with God
- navigating doubts and questions together
- belonging in the church
