Covid-19 (Updated 23 August 2020)
Hello Church Family,
Over the past few weeks, we have sought God’s wisdom on how to resume our services in a way that would glorify God and be healthy and wise for all people, whilst taking on board the guidance issued by the Scottish Government.
The current situation is that we are only permitted to have 50 people attending. Consequently, we are not planning to hold a morning service at CCC until the government permits a larger number to attend. We will continue with an online service.
We are thankful to be able to announce that our evening service at CCC will resume on Sunday 30th August. The service will have a different format without congregational sung worship and there will sadly be no opportunity to meet for fellowship in the building afterwards. However, our Lord Jesus promised that whenever we gather in His name, He will be present with us (Matthew 18:20). The Service will be focussed on the preaching of God’s Word and responding in corporate prayer and intercession.
We will continue with hosting online our weekly Saturday morning prayer meetings and our mid-week homegroups. In addition, to the Sunday evening service we aim to re-introduce a monthly week-night prayer meeting in the building in the Autumn.
We are committed to creating an environment that meets government guidance for safety. To accomplish this, we will have limited seating at each service and need your help to do so. Our numbers are currently restricted to 50 people. (This includes the Pastor, stewarding team, production team and praise team)
We will be producing a video clip of what to expect when you arrive at CCC, and the various processes as you come into the building, so that these will be familiar to you when you arrive.
A reservation will be required. This will be done via our website.
