We aim to be a community of Christians who give generously of our time, abilities and money.

Christian giving is an overflow of grateful hearts who have experienced God’s generosity.
The bible provides principles to guide us in how we should give.

Giving generously

It is inspired by the cross of Christ (2 Corinthians 8:9).
It is an expression of the grace of God (2 Corinthians 8:1-6).
It is proportionate to our income (2 Corinthians 8:10-12).

Giving regularly

Using a standing order enables weekly or monthly (1 Corinthians 16:1-2). From time to time we have appeals for which you can give a one off donation.

 Giving joyfully

Not reluctantly or under compulsion but because we choose to do so (2 Corinthians 9:7)

Giving wisely

Christian giving is sowing to reap a spiritual harvest, an investment in the eternal purposes of God (2 Corinthians 9:6). If we are tax payers, completing a gift aid declaration enables the church to reclaim the tax paid on the money we give, which increases the value of our giving by 25%.

Just as you excel in everything – in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us – see that you also excel in the grace of giving.

2 Corinthians 8:7
