Highland Foodbank

Highland Food bank is a project run by the charity Blythswood Care, part of a UK franchise by the The Trussell Trust. The Food Bank helps provide food for individuals and families in crisis in our area. The aims of the Food Bank project are to provide as nutritious meals as possible and provide a welcoming environment, in the Food Bank Centre, where people in crisis can not only receive food, but if they wish, discuss their problems freely in a non-judgmental context.

Culduthel Christian Centre is a Blythswood Care supporter and are dedicated to helping in the areas in which they work.

Not only are we a Shoebox Sorting Station, when they have their annual Christmas Shoe Box Appeal, but we are also a drop off centre for food for the Highland Food Bank throughout the year. When the Centre is open you are welcome to bring your food items along and place them in the green jumbo bucket in the foyer. These items are regularly collected by the Blythswood Team and taken to their Deephaven Depot, Evanton, to prepare for distribution.
