Returning to Culduthel Christian Centre

Hello Church Family,

Over the past few weeks, we have sought God's wisdom on how to resume our services in a way that would glorify God and be healthy and wise for all people, whilst taking on board the guidance issued by the Scottish Government.

The current situation is that we are only permitted to have 50 people attending. Consequently, we are not planning to hold a morning service at CCC until the government permits a larger number to attend. We will continue with an online service.

We are thankful to be able to announce that our evening service at CCC will resume on Sunday 30th August. The service will have a different format without congregational sung worship and there will sadly be no opportunity to meet for fellowship in the building afterwards. However, our Lord Jesus promised that whenever we gather in His name, He will be present with us (Matthew 18:20). The Service will be focussed on the preaching of God’s Word and responding in corporate prayer and intercession.

We will continue with hosting online our weekly Saturday morning prayer meetings and our mid-week homegroups. In addition, to the Sunday evening service we aim to re-introduce a monthly week-night prayer meeting in the building in the Autumn.

We are committed to creating an environment that meets government guidance for safety. To accomplish this, we will have limited seating at each service and need your help to do so. Our numbers are currently restricted to 50 people.  (This includes the Pastor, stewarding team, production team and praise team)

We will be producing a video clip of what to expect when you arrive at CCC, and the various processes as you come into the building, so that these will be familiar to you when you arrive.

A reservation will be required. This will be done via our website.

We also encourage you to arrive in time to be seated.

Our doors will open 30-minutes before service. A member of our welcome team will direct you to a seat.  At the end of the service, a member of our welcome team will direct you to the exits.

We want everyone to connect with us online and in other ways because God loves all people. However, due to government guidelines we can only receive those who have booked into our evening service

When we do open up again for services, we will require additional help in numerous areas of church life:

Setting Up Team - Arriving about an hour before the service.  Making sure that the building is well ventilated, ensuring social distancing signs are erected, hand dispensers are full and working and in right locations, setting up gazebo's in foul weather, ensuring that building is safe for visitors.

Welcome and Stewarding Team - Meeting and greeting; advising those attending of our guidance and procedures; showing people to their seats as they arrive; showing people the exits as they leave the building

Cleaning Team - A full clean of the auditorium and rooms used is required after the service, eg all chairs, door handles, light switches, toilets etc

Production Team - Arriving about an hour before the service.  Assisting with sound, video, lighting, computers, and all technical aspects of the service.
