Sundays
Coming along to a church for the first time can be daunting. But having an idea about what to expect when you walk through the door can make it easier. We would love to help you find your feet and introduce you to some of the family.
We gather twice on a Sunday to meet and spend time worshipping God, reading the bible, listening to a talk and sharing some stories together. Everyone is welcome!
If you are a first time visitor? Here's what you can expect:
Our morning service starts at 11.00am and lasts about 70 minutes.
Informal atmosphere - come as you are!
Visual Media
Worship band - led by a contemporary worship team. We sing a variety of modern and traditional songs.
Prayer - gives us an opportunity to reflect on God and on His presence with us, and to ask Him to make Himself real to us and to challenge us. An opportunity also to ask God to help people in need - whether they’re in the church, the community, the nation and the world.
A talk on the Bible - messages focused on God's truth and everyday life. We use modern translations of the bible (the New International and New Living Translations) which help bring the Bible alive.
Children are very welcome! - they attend the first part of the service before leaving for Kidzone or Junior YF at approximately 11.20.
Refreshments - teas and coffees are served after the service. Visitors are always welcome to stay on and chat!
Evening services every Sunday at 6pm
(except during July & August)
At our Evening Services usually there will be times of worship, prayer & our Pastor or visiting speaker will give a 30-40 minute sermon.
Occasionally the evening service takes a slightly different format, as above. This can include drama, music, film or discussion groups.

Children on a Sunday
Kidzone Early Years meets in the Holm Room for babies, toddlers and children who are not yet at school. At the moment, as our team grows, we ask for parents / carers to stay with children who are under 2. An alternative option for families with the youngest children is to watch the service from the foyer area, where toys are also available.
Kidzone Early Years starts with a small time together sharing Bible story, songs and prayer, before children choose from a variety of play and craft activities, a couple of which give further opportunity to explore the Bible story and teaching of the day. There is access to an outdoor area so it is advisable that children are dressed for the weather, wellies or suncream as needed! All children must be collected and signed out after the service.
Kidzone P1-P6 meets downstairs in the Church House.
This room also has access to an outdoor space, which gives more room for games and activities and there is a further breakout room we can use for age-based groupwork.
We learn from God’s Word together, using different activities such as reading, drama, DVD, Godly Play, story boxes and more. We explore Biblical themes and stories through games, activities, crafts, Lego building and reflective experiences. It’s a place to connect with God and one another as we learn what it is to be in God’s family.
All children must be collected and signed out after the service.
Junior Bible Class runs for those in P7-S2 during the sermon at the Sunday morning service (term time only).
They meet together upstairs in the Church House with the leaders for the week & discuss issues relevant to their age.
