Coming along to a church for the first time can be daunting. But having an idea about what to expect when you walk through the door can make it easier. We would love to help you find your feet and introduce you to some of the family.

We gather twice on a Sunday to meet and spend time worshipping God, reading the bible, listening to a talk and sharing some stories together. Everyone is welcome!

If you are a first time visitor? Here's what you can expect:

Our morning service starts at 11.00am and lasts about 70 minutes.

Informal atmosphere - come as you are!

Visual Media

Worship band - led by a contemporary worship team. We sing a variety of modern and traditional songs.

Prayer - gives us an opportunity to reflect on God and on His presence with us, and to ask Him to make Himself real to us and to challenge us. An opportunity also to ask God to help people in need - whether they’re in the church, the community, the nation and the world.

A talk on the Bible - messages focused on God's truth and everyday life. We use mo

dern translations of the bible (the New International and New Living Translations) which help bring the Bible alive.

Children are very welcome! - they attend the first part of the service before leaving for creche, Kidzone or Junior YF at approximately 11.20.

Refreshments - teas and coffees are served after the service. Visitors are always welcome to stay on and chat!

Evening services every Sunday at 6pm

(except during July & August)

At our Evening Services usually there will be times of worship, prayer & our Pastor or visiting speaker will give a 30-40 minute sermon.

Occasionally the evening service takes a slightly different format, as above. This can include drama, music, film or discussion groups.

Children on a Sunday

Creche takes place during the sermon on Sunday morning.
Little ones aged 0 - 3 are cared for in the Holm Room and leave the main service at the same time as Kidzone at approximately 11.25am. You are free to use this room beforehand for any needs your little one(s) may require.
Once you have handed your child/children over to the carers, who have been Disclosure-checked, you can return to the service. You have peace of mind as the church has a Baby Alert System in place - when you register your child/children at Babyzone you will be given a number and if you are needed, after leaving them, a number will appear on the screen in the main auditorium so you can leave to attend to your little one(s).
The little ones enjoy playtime indoors or outdoors should the weather be nice enough to do so. Those old enough will also be given juice/water and biscuits. Babies can be fed by the carers if you wish them to do so.
You then collect your little one(s) as soon as the service has finished.

Kidzone is the Church's unique take on Sunday School!

It's for children from pre-school to Primary 7, who leave the morning service at approximately 11.15am to be part of Sparklezone, Rainbowzone or Kidzone (according to their age).

The Kidzone children occasionally take part at the morning services. They are always enthusiastic whether they're singing, reading, doing drama, or leading prayers.

Kidzone also collect week by week for a child they are supporting through the charity Compassion.

The children are also encouraged to be involved in raising money for other projects, and to have a wide vision of Christianity; they keep in touch with the activities of our partner church in Sliven, Bulgaria, and with the work of Blythswood Care and Mission Aviation Fellowship.

Junior Bible Class runs for those in S1-S2 during the sermon at the Sunday morning service (term time only).

They meet together upstairs in the Church House with the leader for the week & discuss issues relevant to their age.
